Masurfspot VZW
The club
From "board sailors" in 1983 to wing and foil today: Masurfspot VZW is the surf club on the Meuse lakes in Kessenich.
History
1983
Windhoos
A small group of enthusiasts discovers a shared passion for "board sailing". The Windhoos club is born.
2001
Masurfspot
A new name, after the Meuse (Maas) that flows past the spot — with some sixty active members.
2009
Masurfspot VZW
The club becomes a VZW (non-profit association) so its voice is heard in the development of the area.
Today
Wind, kite, wing, foil
Backed by a single-sport federation, with a clear vision and concrete plans.
Sports

Windsurfing
The heart of the club, ever since the first handmade boards.

Kitesurfing
Limited places, for experienced kiters only. The spot is not suitable for lessons.

Winging and foiling
On inland water with gusty wind, the foil has become indispensable.
SUP
Stand-up paddlers are welcome on the lake too.
